If it's ever happened to you that you suddenly while playing the "y" you had on the "z", not "ä", "ü" and "ö" everything was writable and "/" to "& was then you have your keyboard layout from German accidentally switched to English. With the shortcut [Alt] + [Shift] you can make it back.
